She practices and reads on mage-work most of the time. She also studies war and strategy. Many elders have thought she may become a great strategists one day. _____________________________ Haze was born into a small elven village nestled in the heart of a dense forest. She was raised by her parents, who were both respected members of the village council. From a young age, Haze showed a natural affinity for magic and strategy. However, unlike other children her age, she struggled to control her magic, often causing accidental mishaps that endangered herself and others. As she grew older, Haze became increasingly frustrated with her inability to master magic, leading her to withdraw from social situations and focus solely on her studies. Her parents, concerned for her well-being, encouraged her to seek counsel from the Ice Territory elder, who was known for his wisdom and understanding of the arcane arts so Haze left home tracking down the clan of the FrostWillow Tribe. The elder, sensing Haze's potential, took her under his wing and began teaching her the ways of the mage. He recognized that while Haze might not be able to control magic like other elves, she could still use it to great effect in other ways. He introduced her to the art of war strategy and tactics, believing that she could one day become a great leader for their people. Haze's newfound passion for strategy and warfare, coupled with her insatiable hunger for knowledge, led her to study voraciously. She would spend hours poring over ancient scrolls and texts, honing her skills in both magic and strategy. Despite her mute demeanor, many of the village elders took notice of her dedication and intelligence, and some even went as far as to predict that she might one day become the greatest strategist their village had ever seen. As Haze continued to grow and learn, her determination to master magic only seemed to intensify. She began to practice even more diligently, often retreating into the depths of the forest to hone her skills in solitude. It was during one of these solo excursions that she stumbled upon an ancient tome hidden within a hollowed-out tree. The tome, which was said to contain the secrets of a long-lost order of elven mages, ignited a new spark within Haze, giving her renewed hope that she might yet achieve her dream of becoming a true mage. Since then, Haze has become obsessed with unlocking the secrets of this ancient tome, spending every waking moment poring over its arcane pages. She has even begun to make some progress, learning how to control her magic in small ways. Despite the demands of her studies, Haze remains determined to prove herself as a mage and a leader, hoping to one day bring honor and glory to her village and people.  |
