b e t h a n y . . .
Thin silken strands of light spiral down through the dense cloud cover that hangs indefinitely over the Swamps. An eerie haze rises from the bubbling viscous waters, collating in a misty veil that curtains everything as far as the eye can see. Before you is a bridge navigating through a forest of tall cypress trees burst from the water below and soar high to the heavens. The base of the trunks are dark and the wooden bridge is soaked, eluding to it being hidden when the swamp waters are high. In the distance you can see the bridge leads to a small hut perched on stilts, it's hastily made from clay and dried hay. A chorus of frogs and crickets chirp and croak away into the stagnant humid air, and you see a flash of colour descend quickly down from one of the trees. At first thought to be another of the many bugs is soon revealed to be a tiny dragon. "Why have you come here, stranger?" the little creature asked. "This is my domain" it hissed as brightly coloured insect wings shot out from it's neck and body, as if giving a warning. By Stardewe
