Cyrus acts older than he actually is. He is rather precocious and is very certain of his knowledge. In fact, he often instructs his "less educated" clanmembers - a trait that makes him somewhat disliked within the clan. But I guess some of that behaviour can be explained with the fact that the nocturne is one of those rare dragons that born to Sornieth by the will of the gods rather than parents. This makes Cyrus think very high of himself and really belives that Icewarden has some great purpose for him. That can be debatable.

While he can be rather diccifult person, he has proved to be useful to the clan. He acts as a scholar, teaching his clanmates about all kinds of important things, such as magic, architecture and so on. Of course, his teaching is more about reading and learning rather than acutally doing those things. If you want to use those skills in practice, you better go find another teacher. But if you just want to know about things, he is your guy.

Despite his ice heritage, Cyrus is not exactly so cold and solemn - he is quite expressive both in the tone of his voice and experssions. He will certainly let you know his opinion on whatever the thing might be. He values knowledge very much, as it is to be expected. He has a knack for stubborness, but when it comes to new information, he will often gladly accept it.

The swamp witch, Rua, seems to be very found of him for some strange reason. Cyrus doesn't seem to like her that much, but the two nocturnes have indeed formed an unlikely bond. It is to be supposed that maybe it is good that somebody cares about him despite his attitude. Not that windwooders would not care about him, they care about each other in the end, even tough some prove to be difficult cases.
