Biography

Left mute and scarred by the catastrophic explosion of an experimental weapon, Olip left his alchemical apprenticeship in shame. He wandered far, afraid to show his ruined face in public, or to any alchemist who might recognize the forbidden nature of the weapon that had destroyed it. Eventually, after collapsing in some abandoned village in Luminax’s Wake, he was found by the mysterious wandering healer Rhu. Olip doesn’t understand her motives in following the destructive Emperor, or why she took him in, but he is thankful to be an apprentice again. There’s something strangely pleasant about using his hands not to hurt, but to heal.
