Fallen 
They have told her she's a blessing. Their last hope. She can't fulfil such desires; that's not her gift. She can't see to the ends of her actions, only knows that endless consequences unfurl from there. They spill and contaminate the records, an insidious corruption. Who would ever be able to tell what she'd done if she's changed reality? She can't know for sure if anything changes, if she can't remember what it was before. But the warping lives in every particle, a lingering echo of what it once was not yet released to entropy.
A living conduit, a touchstone for every event that ever has been and ever will be. All of time, throughout, is interconnected to her. Her actions, a little alteration of the timeline if it had been anyone else, will change the course of millennia. So she imprisons herself. Withdraws into wormholes sealed by thaumaturgy, caverns sterile from time. When strangers encroach upon her, they assume she's a seer. She doesn't have that kind of sight; she's never seen the past nor the future.
History rushes furiously through her veins. She is an abomination. How many times has she accidentally entangled her claws in the world and adjusted threads she never knew of? How many splintered timelines has she irreparably created and destroyed?
Cautious, she promises. I will not allow myself to fall.

A wandering group of nomads, haunted by their past and looking for a safe place to stay. A formerly mighty group of physicians living on the outskirts of the Scarred Wasteland, a mysterious force started to steal away their dragons one by one in the night. Taken in panic when Opal sensed a hostile presence in their camp, a small group of them fled.
When they regrouped, barely half of them were left. They knew they could not risk searching for the other survivors, and they had to leave the Scarred Wasteland. Their only refuge could be the Viridian Labyrinth, where the Plaguebringer's power still could not reach.
This clan is what is left of the bedraggled, heartbroken refugees that first ran from the camp that was no longer home for them. As they try to outrun their hunter and their history, they continue searching for an answer to the curse that has shattered their clan's soul into pieces.
