NIGHTMARE KING  Above the Sparkglider ────────────────────── ✥ they/them • chaotic neutral ✥ Do you trust the Gods? The great mastermind behind the Goldensparc highjacking, the Voltagon creation, Thundercrack Carnivale and the resistance against the Deities, this is the ghoul of the Nightmare Factory, Rex Visio Nocturna. The King mans the Towers of Rakhluna and owns the Nightmare Factory, though they often leave all responsibilites to their sibling. They have always been curious since their creation, which often translates into picking fights with everything and everyone. Often having snarky remarks and cracking jokes at nearly every ocassion, they could be described as immature by some, but when it comes to defending the Voltagon, King can be very cold and will pursue anyone who threatens to damage their empire. Or do you believe the fallen? Within the first age of Sornieth, the lightning deity created his first kin to serve the Lightning kingdom. A mechanical angel that would take over their father's throne one day. What was born however, didn't fill the role of a golem that would follow orders. The rogue Demigod of Voltage, Judgement and sand was born instead. When the Bounty of the Elements was in ignition, the Sparkglider ran, exalted from the domain of the Goldensparc. The day their father rejected them, they decided they'll never answer to the deities, they will build their own kingdom. At the southern coast of the Expanse, the Nightmare Factory now stands to rival the Lightning capital in it's glory and anger the Stormcatcher. King is skilled in many forms of machinery and engineering, learning straight from the Tempest tower executives. They adore the art of golem making and always hoard away little screws and cogs for future use. They are often very fond of rare gemstones as well, ocassionally trying their hand in jewel making.
Blinded by Lightning • The Nightmare King was made by the Stormcatcher, they inherit many of his cowardly traits, but also some of his best abilities. The Charge of Nightmares • Rex was born with a voltage-charged pearl called the Eye of the Storm, its corronation room is within the Voltagon Channel when Rex doesn't parade it around on a staff. Its magic abilities are.. unpredictable. High Kingdom • King's affiliates are rather disadvantaged at times, the selfish ridgeback does at least provide them with shelter and stable work. They are particularly close with Function Bugfix, their hard-working golem, with Riptide, their brother, and with Belphegor, their strange informant.. cute !! • The Nightmare King loves Sparksylphs, and they seem to love them back. Nothing better than resting and cuddling with little charged clouds of voltage. Lucid reality • Every deity can shift, some do it more than others, commonly to change between divine and hidden forms. King however takes it to the extreme and enjoys terrorising others with contorted faces and scary appearances. Especially when connecting to local telewires... |
