Biography
A E G I S
_________________________________________________________________
The Caves are lawless and barely restrained by its guardians, Aegis and Orphea. Aegis doesn't look like one who would tolerate the feral bloodthirst of the caves. He is tall and bears a severe face. He's dressed in the opulence of the earth: jewels, metals, and fine fibers. One must not witness him on the full moon, when he indulges in the divine madness of his pack of monsters.

Candles flicker like eyeshine in the dark. Only these lights betray the opening of the caves, hidden beneath blue firs. Inside, yellow stone veined with gold catch the firelight like they're burning too. If you follow the veins downward, they'll lead you to an atrium where a hole in the ceiling lets sunlight flood the air. Here two extravagant dragons stand guard. Cloaked in flowers and silk, they contrast harshly with the scene before them: sandstone littered with bird bones and wildebeest ribs, meat left to turn to jerky in the sun, and scaled hides stretched across bleached wood. |
