Cinta

Curiosity had always been driving Cinta, ever since she hatched.
Whether it resulted in a fall from the nest onto the marble floor or a dust-clogged nose, she never stopped. It was probably the stubbornness of her mother, Amaltea.

Once Cinta saw the gilded porcelain trinket in her father's hands, she became forever enamored with the combination of clay and gold. Aladrinn, seeing such a commendable taste for collecting, decided to encourage the young talent with her own carefully curated collection.

How disappointed he was when he found most of the figures broken. When he looked closer, however, they appeared to have been rather carefully taken apart. The blue, white and gold figure of a jackalope had been carefully and uncompromisingly stripped of its legs, tail, and body.
And it didn't look like an act of cruelty or vandalism. Cinta obviously wanted to do something with the figurine. Something very interesting. And he was looking forward to seeing exactly what that would be.

Cinta, meanwhile, was exploring. Pins, springs, and small magical stones that would act as a power source. After waiting for her mother from a conference in the lands of Arcana with the requested ingredients, she took the gears and springs she found herself and set to work on the figurine. The tiny porcelain jackalope had to come to life! It just had to, how could it not?

A couple of days later, Sol, her first animated creation, was already excitedly running after her. A small but brave and proud protector of the toolbox.
