Biography

The Eldritch Trio were named by Ladon himself. As they were the first dragons to be born after his arrival, they were brought before the adolescent. As he stared into the brilliant blue eyes of the triplets, he seemed to almost look through them, before addressing them each in turn. Yaldaboath. Abraxas. Hemera. The Eldritch Trio. Despite the surprise of all present, Ladon’s inexplicably inspired titles were infectious. They stuck, and the Trio wore them with honor. Yaldaboath was, apparently, named after an ancient deity in charge of celestial upkeep. He is considered to be the eldest of the Trio, even though he is only a few minutes older than his siblings. Abraxas was similarly titled after a god of growth and abundance, and Hemera after a goddess of sunlight and illumination. Others might be intimidated by such lofty namesakes, but neither the Trio nor their thren feel any sort of doubt that the three live up to their divine namesakes.
