Valleran was one of the first to emerge from the Forum of the Obscured Crescent on the Night of the Nocturnes. She came to the clan claiming to be a gift from the Shadowbinder herself, and quickly took her place as the clan Matriarch, retiring the former Matriarch Kivlarin. Under her rule, the clan has moved more twords a cooperative, equalist society, though there is still some prejudice within the clan around breed status.
She is mated with Chainmox, though their romance is more of a black one, centered around one-upmanship, power, and hostility. If it were any other dragons, this would be cause for concern, but the two seem to function rather well and even enjoy the constant back and fourth of one another.
After Chainmox's false prophecy of Helia being the future Monarch, Valleran worked with Kandis and Casia to forsee the true next Monarch and, after months of searching, finally found Aiofe and brought her home. The trio also found her mate, Faolan.
Valleran has secured new alliances with other clans as well as assisting in the uprisings and usurpings of faulty monarchs in sister clans. She is an experianced, skilled fighter.
Her Mask is carved of driftwood from the bog and accented with thorns from the bramble, all in the shape of a Nocturnes face.
