Once the lair had a rodent problem but not anymore, not since Celsius was born. In the nest his egg would sit slightly away from his siblings, no matter how many times Yanuaria would move it back to the group the egg would never stay there if she left the nest. One day she came in to see a little mischief of mice cuddled up around the egg, she scared them off and reported the issue to the leaders - not wanting to hurt the little rodents they just made sure to keep food locked up as to not attracted them to the lair anymore. Once his egg hatched it became apparent that the rodents worshiped this little dragon and it wasn't an infestation but rather a calling they couldn't ignore. As he grew he became able to converse with these little friends, it wasn't just the mice either; rats, hamsters, Chinchillas, squirrels - any rodent he came across would become an ally and so the clan grew to include tiny furry friends. If you can't find Celsius around the lair, he'll be out in the garden or woods with his right-hand mouse Rogue. Rogue is a little brown and white mouse who will always be found on his shoulder, Rogue seems to be an immortal mouse as she tells stories from her live years before she heard Celsius' calling from within the egg. The other rodents come and go. Not Rogue. She's loyal till the end. |
