Vamek

I don't even like Banescales or ancients in general yet here we are.. nine hours in the coli and a ton of treasure and gems here you are. Little brat stealing all of my time and money

Vamek had set off from his birthclan shortly after learning to fly. He had boundless energy to soar the skies over the Nature flight. He never stayed in one place for too long. Never traveled with other dragons. He hunted and gathered everything he would need and was very content with this lifestyle. He never saw himself settling down.. that is until he was attacked by a Shade beast. He has never seen the Shade before so he didn't know how truly dangerous they could be to dragonkind. He thought it was just another beast and attacked it without much hesitation. In an instant the Shade beast had spun around and grabbed one of the smaller wings on Vamek's body and threw it's head back tearing the gliding wing and throwing Vamek far. Vamek's body went into shock and he lost consciousness and was left bleeding out on the forest floor. Luckily for Vamek there was a small clan of dragons that were out foraging and found the Banescale. He was brought back to the clan and their medic tended to his wounds.

Vamek was unconscious for months despite his wounds healing completely. They weren't sure if he would ever wake up again. For a dragon who loved flying as much as Vamek did it was a massive blow to his psyche to lose his gliding wings. He wouldn't be able to stay up as long as he did before. He wouldn't have as much energy as he did before. He simply just.. didn't wake up again. The clan did what they could to take care of him but soon they had to move on. The forest around Vamek started to die. They couldn't hunt or forage in the forest of their clan territory any longer and so they abandoned Vamek to his fate.
