Tourmaline was drawn to the clan by the other wildclaws.

Initially, Voridran was going to chase him away should his advances be rejected by the two females that she protects. Luckily for him, they accepted him and agreed to take charge of teaching him how the clan functions.

He serves as a protector and prefers to stay with the other wildclaws when everyone settles in for eating or sleeping.
