PLACEHOLDER NOTES

Local hedgewitch who specializes in living off the land and has an affinity for mycology and botany. Dries her own herbs and mushrooms, and loves making teas and "coffees" from them that are optimized for the maximum amount of natural, beneficial magical properties. Claims that she can speak to animals and is enamored specifically with birds and snakes; has a corvid familiar and keeps serpents to protect her gardens. Despite living among the Coalition in an arid part of Irthskaar, she has utilized her own magic (and the help of some neighbors aligned to Water) to create a perfect little "patch of paradise" that mimics the conditions of the Tangled Wood for optimal plant and fungi growth. Is very friendly but perhaps a bit too focused on her work; tends to flake out of plans, meetings, and responsibilities so she can focus wholly on her interests, and tries to get out of obligations so she can have more time for her research. This makes her the bane of Lampyridae's existence whenever she tries to corral everyone together to go over research progress with people in the field, though Iskra (who is primarily over the dragons in the field) finds Xylant positively delightful because of her dedication... a rarity, since Iskra is so hard to please.
