kur's cuneiform is 𒆳 (though it should be mentioned that the show kur cuneiform looks different due to its actual appearance not being known at the time) so sharp triangle-y shapes. vipera also has rounder shapes and thin lines which helps connect to kur's show cuneiform
kur is associated with shiva, who is sometimes depicted with a snake around his neck, so snakes. around neck. this connection is seen with kur's tomb actually being the koh ker temple (which is dedicated to shiva), fisk's "divining rod" actually being shiva's trident, and rani nagi calling zak "the destroyer" while drowning him. it should also be mentioned that shiva is sometimes called the lord of animals iwrc
the feathery design of auraboas also helps with kur's very minor connections to quetzalcoatl, which was made with zak monday, who lives in a world that resembles the one with the first sun from the myth of the five suns. the first sun was tezcatlipoca, rival of quetzalcoatl, which is a feathered serpent. they're also both tezcatlipocas if that says anything about days of the week
the snowdrop familiar is because zak discovered he's kur in antarctica and it's a snake. we believe we are very funny
