The intelligent Imperial known as Thomas started his life in the Sunbeam Ruins, though he eventually made his way to the Ashfall Wastes. In Sgail Lasair, he was originally known as one of the dragons in charge of guarding the clan’s treasure, though he was also a part of an organization of dragons known as “the Brotherhood.”

Thomas was among those who finally brought attention to those dragons siding with the Beastclans, in a mission that ruined their reputations forever, though he originally did not want to take part in it, fearing that such actions would only drive the Beastclans into even more secrecy—and that that would only make them stronger in the end. Indeed, he sometimes wondered if it were better for the Beastclans to destroy themselves from the inside out (though even that would not stave the bloodshed nor prevent loss of innocents along the way.)

xxx However, despite his initial wariness, Thomas still agreed to the mission. During the mission, the Imperial made an attempt to steal a prized dragon Artifact that the Beastclans and their dragon allies had laid claim to, only to be attacked by one of the Beasts themselves. Despite trying to fight back, a Serthis blasted him back with a bit of magic, rendering him unconscious for a long enough period of time that the Beastclans were able to hide the Artifact.

(…But that did not mean that they would leave unscathed, as shortly after Thomas would regain consciousness and kill the Serthis whom had used magic against him.)

He returned to the Ashfall Wastes empty pawed, but the mission, in the end, was considered a success: what little sympathy and support the Beastclans had garnered was destroyed, and the dragons that supported them branded as traitors to their kind. Thomas was held in high regard for having accomplished what he was set out to do.

However, though their image was ruined, the Beastclans still remained, though they did take to secrecy, taking their plans underground, they did not grow stronger as Thomas had feared.

Afterwards, the Imperial and his fellow Brothers began to travel more extensively across Sornieth, hunting those groups of Beasts that acted more openly, those who refused to go into secrecy like the majority.

Thomas would later become a mentor to the others who shared their Creed, but he would a particularly close platonic bond with fellow Imperial Ezio.
