WIP:
Vita Sanguinis’s Plague Rep and probably the most distant clan member.

Maila’s past is shrouded in mystery and she’s quite guarded about anything surrounding her origins. Vita Sanguinis heard of her by way of whispers. Some say she was a personal assassin in the high courts due to her unnatural ‘3rd sight’ (a term people made up to describe her physical abilities and her mutated appearance). Others say she was a mercenary. But lower and more disgraceful rumors say she was a high courtesan that contracted many unthinkable diseases for the smallest necessities, which is how she got her disfigured form.

Opalina, Poly and Whirlpool found her passed out far from any civilization next to one of the bubbling gas pits in Plague, her body laden with disease, most notable being leprosy. They actually thought she was a corpse at first due to the amount she was bleeding. She was brought back to the clan where she refused any medical treatment due to her self proclamation that what she had was incurable. Whirlpool, being a master Healer and confident in herself, asked why she would say such a thing (she felt a bit offended to be honest) to which Maila replied with an ominous “I know.” She refused to speak about it afterwards.

She wanted to leave immediately, but she was much too malnourished to even stumble a few feet so Diablo convinced her to stay at least until she regained a normal physique to which she agreed to avoid any more questioning.

As she lived within the clan and became more knowledgeable about her caretakers, she became more interested in the group’s efforts, though she hid it well. She managed to be allowed to attend meetings regarding information of war strategies divided between the Eleven and their courts due to Whirlpool’s fear for her anemic state. At first, the new addition was met with suspicion, but strangely whenever Plague was brought up, she would become more talkative (like 3 words or a sentence) and allude to undercover laboratories and weaponry of the powerhouse. Secrets that no one would know. Despite continual questioning afterwards, she usually remained silent as she never speaks more than she feels she has to to get the point across.

She has stayed with the clan ever since, often saying “I’ll leave when I am done here” when someone asks.

Personality wise, she’s very poised, stoic, and quick to spit back venom fed to her. She often stays away from all other members of the clan due to her wounds and a stench from them that never ceases no matter how much she bathes. Her wounds never scab, close or heal. Curiously, she has never been seen eating nor drinking. Looks wise she is considered quite beautiful in her humanoid form, with high cheekbones, a thin nose and golden brown frizzy hair. She is also quite tall and lanky.
