When a mysterious egg was unearthed on the last
night of the year, the rest of the clan did not know what
to expect. Nevertheless, everyone was excited to find
out. Nearly the entire clan took turns on nest warming
duties, eagerly anticipating whatever would come.
Jade was perfect and adorable from the moment he
was born. The tiny green dragon had the CUTEST
green eyes, and although nobody was really sure how
a Nature egg came to lie underneath the tundra, he was
instantly loved by everyone. With all the affection and
patience shown to him by all of his "parents," he grew
up to be sweet, kind, and immensely charming. Jade
has not yet met a dragon he could not win over.
After adulthood, he became fond of Roxy, his childhood
friend, and for a time they were mates and hatched a
clutch together. But after a while, the two decided they
were much happier as friends than lovers -- mainly
because Roxy found she preferred girls. It was a
difficult adjustment for Jade to make, but the two
worked through it and are still very good friends.
Jade's current mate is Topaz, who he admires greatly
for her courage and strength. In their day-to-day routine,
Jade keeps relations and trade smooth with nearby
clans, and Topaz helps to defend the clan from the
Beastclan hordes. They are both vital to the clan's survival.
