The Owner

The Owner is... the Owner. She made this little tavern on her own, in a corner of the Starwood Strand. It's not too close to any major road, so it's rare to see the place all filled up, but it's about as rare to see it entirely empty.
She probably has a name, beyond Owner, but if she ever told it to anyone they've forgotten it. At this point, Owner is both a name and a title, quite like "Clan Leader" or "Ruler" can be for some clans. Truth be told, the tavern's staff is a little clan of sorts. Customer come and go, but the cooks and waiters and suppliers, they all have their space in this little corner of the woods. It's not hard to notice that most of the staff is a bit eccentric. From troubled youth to probable criminals on the run, the Owner has quite the collection of misfits. She likes it that way. It makes her happy knowing she's given some restless dragons something to do. So long as they don't cause trouble, she doesn't care that much what they were doing before. She too might have a couple skeletons in her closet. The Owner rarely talks about her past, or what she did before opening up a tavern. Given how viciously she can kick out the most unruly customers, most of the staff suspects she didn't have the most peaceful life. But she doesn't press them to share, and they don't press her. If she's trying to leave something behind, that's her business. |

| My Chefs can be a bit dramatic from time to time, but they're quite skillful girls. Very good with a knife. Less dangerous than they fancy themselves to be, but I'd still avoid crossing them. So long as you clean your plate you should be alright, not that you'll have trouble doing that I hope. |
| That kid's pride will be his downfall, I swear. Don't get me wrong, excellent hunter, one of the best I know, but he's not good at telling what best for himself. If he seems annoyed when you talk to him, don't worry. He's just allergic to smiling. Youth, you know? |
| If Lunah could stop bumping zir head into the doorways, that would be great. Those spikes of zirs are horrible on the wood, and ze can fit just fine if ze just doesn't stand on zir hind legs. I wonder where all the care ze puts into picking leaves the size of the tip of zir talons goes when ze has to move inside a building. |
