 Kalla handles maintenance for the onsen - repairing any pools that break, routinely checking the pipes to make repairs and replacements as necessary, and pretty much anything else not related to cleaning that keeps the onsen running smoothly.

It's not glamorous, but like his sister Kilde who also works pretty much behind the scenes Kalla does take pride in his work. He sees the effects that having a nice, hot bath can have on dragons not just within the clan but those from outside who stop in to use their services and he knows how important what he does is for all of that.

When he's not needed for maintaining the onsen Kalla likes to help in other ways; he'll cover for Kelda if she needs it, or help Kilde clean if he has the energy for it. Both appreciate their brother's help even if it's not all the time, knowing that as long as they all work together they can keep things running smoothly and everyone will be happy.
