Finding a love for music at a young age, Cavellina Starsable took it upon herself to learn any instrument she could get her hands on. She settled on the violin and began practicing it at home in her free time, filling her home with music whenever possible. Her mother, Kimura Inumuan or more widely known as "Miss Kimura", was a renowned wizard and Cavellina begged her mother to teach her magic so she could grow up to be just like the other powerful wizards that her mother had trained. Compromising, Miss Kimura taught Cavellina how to use her music and dance to enthrall and protect others.

When her mother recently went missing, her and her brother, Illiyan, swore to find her and deal justice to those who had captured her. This led both of them down a path of violence in desperation to find answers. The siblings triumphs in battle gained them an audience with a Lord who promised answers in return for favors. Illiyan with his specialty in archery, took to the woods to track and kill threatening dragons. Cavellina, with her charisma and ability to manipulate and slip by people, was sent on spy missions to retrieve confidential information from an enemy empire.
