History:
Palen first encountered Adella in the Tangled woods, where she got separated from the rest of her group. Palen took pity on her and helped her reunite with her friends. However, when he learned they were searching for a notoriously elusive species of plant, Palen ended up tagging along with them. After all, Palen can't resist an such interesting challenge. With his knowledge of the area, and a little bit of cunning, they managed to obtain a sample. Adella's group tells Palen more about their "research" back home, and Palen decided he was rather intrigued by the idea, so he accompanied the group of Light dragons back to their clan to learn more.

Personality:
It's hard to tell when Palen takes anything seriously, if he ever does. He treats everything in life like a game to be played, and he makes up his own rules while he's at it, too. Whether it's analyzing an ancient text, or plotting social manipulation, Palen is always thinking two steps ahead of everything.

Clan Role:
This Pearlcatcher always enjoys a good challenge, whatever the case may be. He puts himself to work by studying mysterious artifacts left behind in the Sunbeam Ruins. Somehow, he always manages to coax some latent magical property from any artifact, no matter how mundane it appears. No one is quite sure how he does it.
