why is short order (the song that plays when you rematch the final boss after clearing the tower the first time and getting the credits) such a banger?? actually what am i talking about this is off the hook they always deliver.

now when you clear a palette, you get smollusks thoughts about the character. right?
and we have confirmation that a dj ocatvio palette exists via screenshots prior to the release (the splatling is his!)

i have yet to get the palette. i wanna see what marina says about it. (and also the palettes are a part of the owners soul... so. octavio got roped into this mess unintentionally as well. :) )

Update: I have the palette. And so far no dissing of Octavio (other than potentially overworking marina a bit) which is good. sticking with the already shown "the octarians still respect him even if they left" which is good!!
and after completing it... man. not the level of respect and dissing i was expecting (respect for being da big shot octarian, dissing because team chaos and being very chaotic in his own right). not even a crumb of new info


anyways smollusk is The pearlina kid. making it (they use it/its in canon, im tossing in they/them as well) eights younger sibling
which in turn makes them fours younger sibling by proxy (as eight and four are the siblings ever)

so everything they do to four is waved off as "classic younger sibling behaviour"
