Biography
Following the Greater Ones' departure from homeworld and the Lesser Gods' fall from grace, Twilight bore witness to the sudden despair of many as everything crumbled around them. She was one of the few who had long noticed the cracks permeating society, and when collapse befell it, she knew her brethren would need better leaders than the Gods had ever been in order to restore itself into ideal, and stronger than ever.
She preached for unity, collaboration and community, envisioning the fated utopia this world had always meant to be. Yet, despite the purest of intentions, she was not met without heavy reprisal, quickly being accused of aspiring to become the next leader to fail this generation. She eventually formed her own, separate commune where her ideals were practiced in exile, far from the inflammatory accusations of cultism. But this choice only led to further reprisal, and the verbal backlash eventually become physical, with invasions upon their territory increasing in frequency.
This alienation slowly altered Twilight's mind, as she began to twist herself into the portrait her critics had painted her as. She formed a pact and allegiance, with Kumiko's popular army, who was to join the commune as its protectors. However, they became less so of territory only, but of its ideology as well, as it grew into a full, powerful nation and its primordial morals were corroded by Kumiko's tainted whispers upon Twilight's increasingly paranoid ears. Now, she's little more than a political puppet meant to appease her original public's concerns with the increased vigilance and violence.
But she's more than content to sit on my lap, isn't she?
