Wolf Spirit

He's a lil sweetheart <3

Okame is a Wolf Spirit. For years he lived alone in the forest. One day, however, someone was sent to kill him. He initially fought back, but his opponent, Shade, overpowered him. He begged for his life, promising to do anything that Shade wanted as long as his life was spared. Shade brought him back to the Hawthorne Mansion, then asked Akeo (who, at the time, had just recently become king) what he should do. Shade decided to then get Okame a collar and leash, but not like the ones that Akeo used. He got Okame a more simple collar and leash. He only uses it when bringing Okame into public places so that he does't run off. It takes a few weeks for Okame to adjust to his new life, but he loves it!! Shade helps him bathe daily (with bubbles!) and then the two go for a walk. Okame is an extremely curious person, so his favorite place to go is the farmer's market. He also likes to go with Shade into the forest to explore, and spends a lot of time in the Hawthorne Mansion's massive gardens.

He will become very sad if ignored. Even the smallest bits of attention like a "hello" or a head nod are enough to satisfy him. Okame loves attention more than anything. He loves playing with others, cuddles, kisses, you name it. He's very loyal and willing to do anything Shade asks. One time, Shade told Okame he was proud of him, and Okame accidentally hurt his tail because he moved it too quickly. Another time, Okame broke his ankle, so he decided it was a good idea to hop around on his good foot instead of just using crutches. He fell and broke the other one.

Okame, being a Wolf Spirit, is very well known. An inmate in Kyras' prison was actually named after him (Akame) because his parents studied the Spirits that lived in the nearby forests. No one knows why Shade was asked to kill him, but everyone loves seeing Okame happily wander around the farmer's market.
