Biography
Cornflower looked content as he sat near the waterway, chatting away with his friend. I watched him, pleased with my leisurely life away from the bustling city of the Astrolodome. Thank the Eleven Cornflower broadcasts pretty much everywhere. If not, I wouldn’t have found out about Xylophone.
A new dragon stumbled through the gateway and fluttered one of their wings. It was a male Coatl, blistering with art supplies. He was a gorgeous golden colour with koi patterns, and he wore a jester’s cape that was slathered with paint. Quack entered with the Coatl, flitting around one of their wings. Me and Cornflower walked up to them both while Hexadecimal followed us through the waterways.
“This Coatl is injured,” Quack chirped. “Their wing’s come out of its socket.”
Cornflower brushed his hand against the Coatl’s wing joint. He then grabbed it, and shoved it back into place.
The Coatl jumped. “Ahh!” he barked. “Err… thank you.”
Cornflower bowed at him. “Name’s Cornflower.”
“I’m Wingding,” the Coatl said with a nod. "Uh, what is this place?"
"This is Xylophone!" I said, shaking Wingding's hand. "Will you stick around?"
Wingding shook his head. "No, sorry," he said, unfurling his wings.
I looked disappointingly at the Coatl. "C'mon," I called. "You just discovered this hidden community, and are going to leave already?"
Wingding hesitated. I glanced at his art supplies. "You're a painter?"
"Yes..."
I flicked my tail at him. "Come with me! I can show you my favourite spot..."
