Ollaria was born a orphan, she never knew her parents, nor did she ever really feel a need to. She was adopted by a clan of Serthis who resided in the Scarred Wasteland, and, despite being a much larger dragon than them, she was still treated as one of their own. She learned just as much about the creation of potions and antivenom, but the subject she always loved most was stone-working. Specifically, sculpting. And even more specifically, the sculptures of ages past. As she grew, she yearned more and more to become some sort of Archaeologist, though the clan that adopted her wanted her first to learn more self-defense before she went off on her own. So she waited, and waited. When Arisen visited her clan once, Ollaria did not think much of her at first. She came off a bit arrogant to Ollaria, actually, due to her manner of speech and presentation. So she waved Arisen off as just another Necromancer. One day, after a brief argument Ollaria had with her clan mentor, Arisen approached her about her Archaeologist dreams. She offered letting Ollaria travel with her clan, visiting and excavating whatever site Arisen could get (within reason, of course), and in return Arisen would offer her full protection. At first, Ollaria didn't believe her, and dismissed her again. But that night, Ollaria just couldn't stop thinking about the offer, spending it tossing and turning and getting little rest. When morning rose, Ollaria rushed to her clan mentor, and repeated the entire offer Arisen had given her. It took a little convincing, but eventually her clan mentor relented, knowing since she was little that she would probably leave the clan. And so began her career.
