Olivia

There’s a strange story about this forest. On nights of the new moon, those who travel the forest can sometimes find a huge, old building that is otherwise not found in the forest. It is said that travelers who enter the building are never to return. However, Olivia doesn’t believe that. It’s just an old ghost story to her. So, instead of doing what everyone else would do and staying away from the forest during a new moon, Olivia goes looking for this weird building. It takes her a while, way longer than she anticipated, but she does find the building eventually.

It’s a strange, old, ugly building that feels strangely unreal as Olivia looks at it. Still, that doesn’t stop her, and she boldly opens the huge front door and enters into a big dimly lit hall with doors everywhere she looks. Olivia steps inside and doesn’t even flinch as the front door behind her closes. The lay-out of this place doesn’t make sense, there are doors in the ceiling, and on the floor! Olivia carelessly opens some of the doors that are easy to reach. Most of the rooms she sees are empty, dusty, and dark. Nothing really cool to be seen.

Getting frustrated, Olivia decides to open one of the floor doors. And as she does, she can hear music. Faintly. It’s coming from the hole in the ground, the dark abyss that she just opened the door to. And for the first time since forever, Olivia is unsure how to proceed. Should she just jump into the hole, see what’s on the other side? It would be hard to find her way back up in the darkness. She could fly back though… Rummaging through her bag, Olivia finds some glow stones. Perfect, a light source! She’s immediately more at ease. Glow stones in hand, Olivia takes a deep breath…

And jumps into the depths of the opened door.
