Saul

Secretly, Saul has been the one to find the gene, but gave it to his sister, knowing how much it would mean to the boss. It's his duty to take care of his little sister after all. No one, other than Mackenzie knows about his sacrifice.

When the new recruit Angelique was added to the gang, Saul's heart fluttered. He was smitten with her the moment he saw her bright wings and body. Despite his sister's warning to not get involved, Saul prepared a nest for Angelique who returned his affections, and soon two eggs were laid. Two new hatchlings will be added to the Arataki gang in short order. Only time will tell if Angelique and Saul's romance will grow and bloom.
The Arataki gang is not a charity, and work is required. Saul was requested by the boss to take on a job and bring the rookie Rourke with him. Their goal was to steal the legendary Onikabuto from the Takashi Gang and bring it back to Boss Sergio to have it be their champion fighter. Sadly, as they were infiltrating the Takashi Gang vault, Rourke knocked over one of the vases with her tentacles, drawing the attention of the guards. Saul taking pity on the rookie pushed her toward the exit and told her to slither as fast as her body could. Embarrassed and scared, Rourke fled knowing it was her job to bring back to the news to Saul's new mate and sister that Saul was lost to them forever. There were two eggs still warm in the nest who would never know his father...

Unless he could be saved by his sister?
After 5 days in imprisonment, Saul returned to the gang. After taking on Sergio for having collaborated with the Takashi Gang to oust the last boss, he emerged victorious as the new leader of the Arataki gang. Tearful reunions with his sister who saved him and his broodmate who had weeped for his loss were had. When he saw his hatchlings for the first time, Saul held back the tears as he was so relieved to be back home where he belonged. It was time to lead the gang to victory, and take down the Takashi Gang for good.
