Zelda
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - today in my heart, a vague trembling of stars. • a b o u t • Zelda was born in the Reedcleft Ascent, and so she knew it like the back of her claw. She spent her childhood practicing her flight from cliff to cliff. And so, when it came time for her Flight into Adulthood, Zelda should've had it perfected by then. And at first, she did. She weaved and soared through the breeze as if she'd been born to do it. And yet, when Zelda was hit by a rapid gust from below, she dropped between the cliffs and fell into the ocean. When she woke, Zelda was deep below the ocean surface, being tended to by two Coatls she'd never seen before. Faerune had found her washed ashore and had brought her to Alusair, where she was nursed back to health. Even after her wounds were healed, Zelda took a long time to recover. She lived in Faerune's small cave and did not often come out, feeling shameful and angry at herself for failing her clan. With a lot of time and patience, Zelda began to heal what had been broken. She never returned to the Windswept Plateau, though it was not from shame or embarrassment now, but she had fallen in love with the Feywild Clan and she felt like it was where she belonged. Her and Faerune found an intense love for each other, and Zelda settled into life beneath the waves as if she'd always belonged there. And, of course, she had.
