Efrien

As one who got by on her beauty for most of her life, not many knew that she actually had a bit of combat prowess in her. Of course she did, how else would she guard herself from those who think her delicate enough to be an easy target? When she first arrived at the arena, she was unaware of the circumstances that led her there but she knew what needed to be done after watching a few fights. She refused to become a victim of the endless bloodbath.

Somebody as kind and soft as her was expected to be frightened or event traumatized by the combat she witnessed. Oddly enough, she stepped up to the challenge without even flinching. What was a little blood? It could easily be washed off of her beautiful feathers.
