Biography
You're never gonna believe this, but...I was once a teahouse.
I was built over seven hundred years ago. I stood there for probably fifty-something, I don't know. What I do know is, one minute I was just an old nice-smelling building with a tree out front, and the next, my customers were fleeing and I was rising out of the ground. My lattice had become scales, my window screens became wings, and the tree was on my head. I think I still have some chairs rattling around inside me somewhere.
Anyway, I don't know how I went from teahouse to dragon, but I definitely prefer this state. Serving tea was peaceful, but I had real freedom for the first time. I could walk and talk and fly. I wanted to try everything. And I really did try everything. That's how I developed an immunity to most poisons. Yeah, I learned the hard way. But hey, I'm still kickin', aren't I?
Turns out, having a poison immunity is actually pretty handy. I met a poison tester one day who was making heaps of treasure, and he taught me how to advertise my services. I was hired by a clan with three leaders, and I would say the rest is history--but it's not. I also found out I had a passion for apothecary work. So I became the clan's go-to dragon for herbal remedies, too.
Oh, and I adopted a daughter! She's a permababy--won't tell no one how it happened, but it doesn't matter to me. I love her all the same. I'm training her up to be a good apothecary like myself.
That's all, for now. I'll come back to tell you another story one of these days.
