Biography
"We were birthed from the abundance of light, our kind had sprouted forth from the ground in droves unfathomable to most of dragon-kind. Clawing our way from the blighted land that had once been lush and green, we marked our home in the blinding light that purified all in it's path. 'For the betterment of all!' we had cried out as we cleansed the land of both plague and life alike. All was unworthy in the eyes of our god's blinding radiance, only deemed pure once within the Warden's loving embrace. All we had been taught the moment we were freed from our former shells, cocoons of white and blood of gold, that we were the product of our god's forgiveness. That is where our names hold true, and as Sin-Eaters, we purge the unworthy."
Golden eyes fluttered upwards as the old tome was snapped shut, a smile laced in a brilliant gold forming upon his porcelain crackled face.
"I know it is hard to believe, but this is the truth we had been taught when brought to life, that we were doing an ultimate service to the one true god, an uncaring being bathed in light itself. She was the reason a great curse was released upon this planet, why the land was stricken white in a world now a former shell of what it once was."
A claw hand pushed his glasses further up his nose. His snout twitched before resting his hands carefully before him; a seated position with wings tucked neatly to his sides.
"As for me? I am one of the few who had regained a semblance of their past self, although... not entirely. Enough so that I understand the wrongs of the thing that birthed me and my brethren."
His tail would twitch before a quiet laugh would bubble from within, "Now I simply keep track of this clan's ancient texts and tombs, a job once held by another now lost to time. They thought it better that something akin to a statue would better suit the needs as their everlasting historian."
