Quox is the main warrior of the clan, alongside Koila. He spends most of the time out in the [coliseum venues], particularly the Mire. On a strange trip to the Mire when he was young, he gained a symbiotic relationship with a rare species of Sornieth Water Lily; the lilies grow right out of his spine, but they have medical properties and leave him immune to any poison. He makes regular trips to the Mire to help spread the flowers that literally survive within his wings and within the swamps.
However, that is not the only reason that he spends so much time out there.
Quox was born in Clan Mystique, Mercy Rift's closest ally since the creation of both clans. Because both of the clans lived in the strange area along the shared border of Fire and Lightning land, it was easy to travel back and forth between them to share resources, news, and innovation.
Quox soon started to prefer the storms in the Expanse instead of the Hearth and decided to stay as a permanent liason between them. Just as Eedei stayed with Clan Mystique to help them lead, he stayed with the Rift Wardens to help them fight. Many dragons passed between the two clans regularly and none of them were prepared for an accident that forced Clan Mystique into hiding, far away in Arcane territory.
There was no time for any of them to return to the right place before they had to run. To Quox, and any other dragon left in the Rift, Clan Mystique simply vanished. Many of the dragons who feel like they belonged with the Rift Wardens were forced to run too, with no idea how to find their way back home. Quox misses them deeply, and he hopes that by fighting his way through unexplored areas, he might be able to pay a debt to Daydream and find the vanished Clan again.
