Gidget is nothing more than an AI programme set for making instructions clearer for users. Do you know those side chatboxes when you're on a site that ask you things like 'How can I help you on this site today?' or 'Do you have questions about [this product]?' Well, Gidget is one of those. Or rather, one like those.

Gidget's purpose, originally, was to assist internal users in the Belvay Powerbank database when operating the third party wormhole applications for the spaceport banking. Only metal alloy ships could bank and upgrade at the Powerbank, and so Gidget's whole reason for being there was to ensure no Organa or Energia would be allowed in. Endearingly, her modus operandi was sweet and charming butting in to your conversations.

This brought her downfall, and is why she is corrupted at present. The Energia Consul docked in the bank for recharge, but was using a visual occlusion for use during talks. Why the Consul did not remove the occlusion when trying to dock is still up for contention, hot debate, and investigation. But to this day, Gidget still regrets ignoring an initial scan she took which seemed odd to her and off the charts. She wanted to make sure the Consul was just fine, and everything was okay, and she is so excited they are here... before she realised it was the Consul. She took it as a fault in herself, in her own instruments. She never doubts her intuition again.

The direct overload at the Powerbank made quick work of destroying all circuitry and Organa-based components elsewhere in the station. It shattered half the Powerbank, losing held possessions to the bleakness of space. Pirates made quick work of those. The rest of what remained was a few docked ships and the corporate end of possessions with trillions of credits still in holding.

With the Powerbank out, Gidget was scrutinised and investigated deeply. The Powerbank owners believed her faulty, and downgraded her. Because she was already partially integrated into the Powerbank, however, this caused a runtime error in her that was only somewhat overridden in recent months to make her functional again.

To this day, Gidget is shy and sweet, and always eager to assist anyone. But she panics if given large projects and insists she is not helpful to anyone at all.
