Lua

Under the moonlight, Lua looks for stones. Not regular old stones, no. Special stones that glow in the moonlight. He has built quite the collection of these stones already, but every time Lua comes back to these fields there’s new ones waiting to be collected. He stays up all night, filling up his bags with all the glowing rocks he can find, before going back home when the sun starts to rise.

At home, he brings the bags into a dark room. Lua carefully sorts the stones based on size, color and shape, and gives them all a place on his shelves. Shelves that are filled to the brim already. He really needs new shelves, for more room. Or maybe, he needs to clean out his collection? Lue sits in the dark room for a while, thinking about his lack of space and how to fix it. Until his body complains, that is, and he gets up to eat breakfast and take a nap. Decisions are best made on a full stomach and after a few hours of sleep.

Later that day, Lua is back in his dark room, filing away through his collection. He collects the rocks that aren’t as pretty or colorful, and puts them in bags. At the end of the afternoon, Lua’s room looks way more tidy, with shelves filled with only the prettiest rocks. Happy, Lua carries the bags and bags of less pretty rocks to the jeweler. “I have these rocks that glow under moonlight, do you want them?” Of course, the jeweler says yes. He pays Lua for the stones, and promises him to make him a ring out of one of the stones.

About a month later, it is ready, and Lua walks out to the fields, into the moonlight. With a ring on his finger that glows just like the moon above him.
