This is Talvi. She's a blue silver spot tabby Oriental, and she's utterly insane.

She came to our house partly as a companion for my beautiful, wonderful white Siamese, Lilith (aka The Bat), who was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure. She was given a few weeks, just before she turned six. She still wanted to play and run around like the young cat she is, but my aging orange three-legged rescue, the Y, (and one of my best friends, he saved my life more than I saved his) was never much of a fan of playing, and the younger one, Grim, a giant black floof lion, can be a little too rough or lazy, one or the other.

Lilith hated Talvi at first. This tiny terrorist who could fit in the palm of my hand, and yet made the loudest noise out of all of them when she crashed around the house. They still have arguments and slap battles, but they also sleep curled around each other when they think no-one's looking. Talvi may be insane, but she's also incredibly affectionate and demonstrative with her love; she purrs at being noticed, rides on my shoulder, jumps into my arms just like Lilith always has, and follows me everywhere, just like Lilith. She adores the other cats, however they may feel about her (Grim is patient with her in a way I've never seen from him before, though, and the Y will clean her face if she doesn't jump on him), and she tells us all how much she loves us, every single day. And Lilith is still with us, and just turned seven. ♡

We've since lost our Bat, but she is remembered.
The whole house remembers.

My cat. My little friend who rides around on my shoulder and yells if she can't get to me.
Who throws herself fearlessly several feet across a room, while I was still moving
- knowing that I would somehow just know, and stop in time for her to land safely -
It was terrifying, and so amazing at the same time because I knew then.
She trusts me that much.


And I just got told that my ex plans to take her away from me.



There's... so much more to this, but I doubt anyone cares to read that, myself probably included.
I can't lose my cats. Any of them.

She doesn't even like them.
She only wants to take them away from me,
because I love them, and we can't have that, can we?
It's so obvious that this is just punishment.
