Although born and raised in Clan Solas, few of its members can claim that they are on familiar terms with this reclusive Skydancer. As a cartographer, Leonidas must travel and explore the area he is hoping to reproduce on paper. But these are not regular maps; Leonidas specialises in mapping underground cave networks. It is usually quite a long process; depending on the size of the network he may have to make several trips in order to record all the details and get to the end. And the process of actually drawing up the finished version of the map is also incredibly time-consuming. The maps he creates are practically works of art; the effort he puts in illustrating makes them both beautiful and practical. The three maps he has produced so far are displayed proudly in Main Hall, the Treasury and the Vault Office.

When he is at home, Leonidas likes to make the most of being above ground. Because he is not used to daylight, he only ventures out after dark, prefering to sleep through the day. Only a handful of dragons have a similar routine, which suits Leonidas perfectly as he is not the type to seek out social contact. But, he still found himself tagging along on Origin's star-gazing trips out of curiosity and after learning a bit about space and the universe, Leonidas developed a real interest in astronomy. He finds it remarkably relaxing and Origin makes the perfect companion (aka he doesn't talk too much).

Unsurprisingly, Leonidas has quite the collection of finds from his cave explorations. From minerals, ores and rocks to the more unusual 'stuff', he was at loss at what to do with it all before someone suggested he sell them. But Leonidas is not the type to run a stall and deal with customers so he sells to other merchants. Any minerals and ores go straight to Faeroe and anything really weird goes to Akane. Both are always really excited to see him coming.
