you approach a quaint, but quite spacious, greenhouse; it is perhaps the most well-tended to building you've seen yet in this little (town). you let yourself in to take a look inside, where you notice a quiet weevil watering watering some flowers.
<you> : oh, hello. is this your greenhouse?
the weevil turns to you with a distant look in his eyes.
you take a step back towards the door, before he sets his watering can down.
<the botanist> : ...yes.
<you> : it's beautiful.
the weevil breaks eye contact.
<you> : i'm You, by the way. i already met oz and timother.
<the botanist> : the botanist... bo.
<you> nice to meet you, bo. i suppose i'll see you around.
the botanist nods before turning back to his plants.

you enter the greenhouse, hoping to find the botanist.
<you> : bo...?
the botanist creeps up from behind a desk, a half-full bag of fertilizer in hand.
<you> : i just came to ask... do you know anything about the big tree? oz sent me.
<the botanist> : of course.
<you> : okay...
you stare at each other in prolonged silence.
<you> : do you think you could help me get there?
<the botanist> : of course. i can take you there.
<you> : thank you so much. i'm looking for more workers... oz thinks i can find timother's siblings.
the botanist nods, placing the fertilizer gently on the desk.
you both make your way out of town (town) and up a large hill. you eventually make it to the tip where a dead, average-sized tree sits.
<the botanist> : here it is... in all its grandiosity.
<you> : it's dead.
<the botanist> : of course. go, knock.
you cautiously approach the tree before glacing back at the botanist. he stares back.
you knock.
<termite> : who goes there?!
a voice rings out, causing you to tumble backwards.
the botanist stares as you get back up to your feet and take a deep breath.
<you> : i go here...!
<termite> : why do you go there?!
<you> : to recruit you. or, your brother needs your help. he's ill.
<termite 2> : you found him?! oh please, bring us to our brother.
<termite> : you stay out of this! you know those scams that have been going around.
<you> : i assure you, this is no scam. he's bedridden at this very moment...!
a small colony of termites follow you and the botanist back to town (town). there, you know you must meet back up with oz to begin construction.
