Change of Plans
XXX BREEDING PROJECT

As of February 24, 2024, my long term goals and original breeding method for my XXX breeding project has changed. Previous aspirations to provide clean stock for everyone have now been scrubbed. However, I still plan to complete the color wheel and focus on finishing some long time gene projects.

'Lanikot's Hidden Service' will continue to be open as long as I log into this game, but it will likely be less in demand. However, I may have a slight alternative to my original plan of providing unrelated stock. I'll share that once I get some kinks worked out. I want to be sure this is something I want to do before committing. (I've always been the type who dislikes giving up.) Stay tuned for that.

I've neglected this project for a few years, but it's probably time I get back on it. I'll be working to gene my core dragons and wrapping up the lore. I'm sad to say that I didnt get to expand Spectrum; I had to actually delete some to make room for my XXX project. That's when I knew I had to choose, and I decided to prioritize my breeding project. I'm not entirely happy about that. I grew fond of those boys but managed to keep a few faves.

I'm not a writer, but I had intended to do some world crafting which was heavily influenced by game changes and player interactions. This was something that began in my early days with hosting newbie events, and I've carried it throughout my playtime up until a few years ago. Tillandsia Island was suppose to have multiple biomes and territories despite being a floating isle. I had plans. >_< Over time, I decided to let that go due to the general descent of things in this game. Now, I think its time I tidy up loose ends. The current evolution will be their last.

I loved this during my earlier years and have decided that I will be reviving quests as a means to hand out freebies again. This is not going to have the super expensive stuff such as sprites or rare skins. (Yet.) I still need to work out how I want to run this though. If you can't tell, I hide a lot of things: my hatchery, my drawing services, etc. However, my quests were often something a player had to discover in a parcel such as a Flower Bomb or Glitter Bomb; and I haven't been doing that for the past several years. I'm torn between doing that again, or hiding them out in the open. People quickly discovered the latter, so I might make it more challenging by including riddles or scavenger hunt. It's hard to say. (I'll need to really think about this, but I'm currently swamped with other projects outside of FR. @_@)

I want to revive the positive feelings I used to associate with this game, and these events were a highlight of those times. If you have ideas or suggestions, please let me know. Same applies if you have suggestions for reasonable rewards or services you might want to see offered. If they are from other players, feel free to mention them. I'll see about acquiring them, such as a leveling service, gift certificate for a piece of art, etc. I'll set up a suggestion form soon.
