Boromir's avatar
To new members, seeing a scarab means a pest or a free snack. To those who have been around longer however, they’ll know Boromir’s nearby. Acting as a sort of prophet or spy depending on who you ask, she has full reign over these insects. She absolutely adores them, making sure her colony is alright before sending them out all over other clans to report anything. What will come from it is completely random, so don’t expect a straight answer. Sometimes it might rain, sometimes a sinkhole just devoured the nearby clan’s hatchery. She doesn’t care for the news herself and instead look for the reactions of those she both watches and tells. They can be quite amusing if the circumstances are outlandish enough. Despite all this, the only one besides her who seems to know why she’s harnessed this talent is Starfleet. More often than not, Boromir can be seen traveling to his den just to disappear from hours at a time to entire days. Perhaps one day they’ll know why she acts as though they all have feelings, why she flinched when one is stepped on, or why she prolongs her s noises when speaking.
