Biography
"Oh, darling that outfit looks so... Dead. Why don't I offer you these earrings and necklace at a discounted price so you stand out more?"
Gold
CITIZEN, JEWELRY STORE OWNER Selling jewelry as bright and shiny as they are, Gold accompanied Ouroboros, their mate when they first arrived in the Blood-Whisper Clan. While their mate might have a higher role, Gold has made a little bit of money for them running a crystal and Jewelry store to dragons looking to spice up their outfit or armor. As with most light dragons, some dragons are rather weary about them, especially with their mannerism. Some dragons think that Gold secretly believes they are better than them due to how much he enjoys looking at how shiny he is. Bloodjade is a huge culprit of this, almost seeming envious of Gold's stunning colors, but she won't admit that out loud. |
BACKGROUND
Learning how cruel a world can be is very hard, especially when you had been conditioned all your life to think otherwise. Gold grew up from very wealthy Light Council Members and was mostly shieled from the harsh realities of the world.
Gold's parents wanted them to make a life for themselves, believing that their precious hatchling was ready to tackle the world. Gold believed it themself too, ready to show the world the wonders of their gem artisan abilities.
Venturing into the Scarred Wasteland, Gold was unaware how cruel Plague dragons can be. Their old lifestyle of high-end and stature of another clan didn't matter to the monks and wanderers here. Gold was picked on, humiliated, and teased for having the mindset that they did.
Gold lost everything, their wagon of jewels, their tools, and their dignity. They were at a very low point in their life, blaming the dragons he grew up with for their humble situation. Until another Auraboa of the Plague approached.
Gold didn't look her in the eye, just told her that he has nothing left and they are unable to give anything else. The Auraboa scoffed and forced Gold's eyes onto hers.
"You think I'm her' for a sob story? No, I'm not. Yea, sure you may miss the comfort of yer' High end Light clan but ain't what happens here." Gold was confused, baffled even.
"Let me teach you a little trick about the world, you shinin'n stick of depression'."
Her name was Ouroboros, a Plague Auraboa with vibrant colors warning of her venom. For weeks, they both travelled the Scarred Wasteland, Gold learning about the world, and what was out there to be found. They learned quickly though that being a wanderer was not for their lifestyle. However, Gold felt another feeling from the awe of Ouroboros, Love. Catching feelings for a dragon they can't even stay close to for very long.
As weeks turned into months, Gold was unable to hold back their feelings any longer. Ouroboros was taken a back, she had believed that no dragon could be capable of loving a snake of the Rot, but here Gold was. Gold further confessed that they aren't fit to be a wanderer, and they knew Ouroboros knew that.
Luckily, Gold was not the only dragon Ouroboros knew. She claimed she knew a place of rest, not horribly far from the Wasteland, where Gold could meet more dragons and learn more about the world. However it was a place she knew they won't be comfortable with.
Gold agreed to try the lair out, they've been through the wasteland, how hard could this new place be?

ABOUT ME
Gold was very unsure of the Tangled Wood at first, but as they slowly moved in, they were supplied with trinkets and bobs to start back up with their Gem artisan skills, now making jewelry for any dragon that passes through. Or, if any dragon needs something to give them extra coin in their travels.
Ouroboros and Gold have a lovely relationship. Although Gold and Ouro can never truly kiss, they both enjoy talking with each other and bartering at the Trading Post in their spare time.
