The old dragon comes off as reserved and stoic. Not one for wasting words needlessly. Quite in stark contrast to her mate, that's the complete opposite; joyful and playful. That said, they compliment each other well. Many tend to fear Gyda for her icy exterior, which is not unfounded, she can be unforgiving and hold a grudge. Though truth be told she’s the one with the softest heart among the council members and the most likely to show mercy, Though those moments are rare and far between.

Gyda is old and her body is mangled with disease and scars from countless battles. Her eyes speak of a world weary soul, that seems cold and unmoving to those that meet her. The pearl she keeps close to her, her soul, is covered with deep grooves and dark boils that makes her pearl misshaped and ugly to look at. Not unlike herself. Though Gyda herself never seemed to care about her looks, she already got all that an old pearlcatcher could wish for. A loving mate, lots of children, a damp but functional den to call her own in which she can perform her many rituals.

Gyda is an old council member and was one of the dragons that helped to keep the clan afloat while the previous matriarch and patriarch of the clan had suddenly disappeared for many years. The old dragon that was young then made it her duty to make the clan prosper and she did, her natural perception and cunning has helped her out tremendously. She was chosen to be the leading ambassador when it came to making new relationships with other clans. Which she served well as, though as the years have gone on and her council duties more plentiful, she’s given that role over to Abyzou. A dragon Gyda herself has helped coach to take her place as leading ambassador and someone she calls a friend.

Now as one of Gyda’s many duties befalls, she makes dark rituals, where she reads in bones, being able to see snippets of what’s to come, or prophecies that can help lead the clan to a more prosperous future. Aristarkh, her mate often confides in her and trusts her abilities to read people and her many prophecies have helped the clan from avoiding many close calls.

I adore this lady, she has so many pieces of apparel that i really adore as well as the colour combination is stunning. I love the purple and green combination that she has, its so good and so underrated. The little hint of mushrooms is so nice as well, i like that it gives a nice cream colour to her that also matches the lace flowers she has.
