Dragons who come requesting audience with the leader of Clan Harmonestis are often surprised when they are confronted by a tundra dragon. The fluffy pacifistic herbivores of the Snowsquall Tundra seem ill-fitted for the realm of the Plaguebringer. Assuming that Viricota is a typical member of his breed is a mistake no dragon makes twice, however.

Unlike many of his brethren, Viricota does not shy away from combat—or from leaving the emissaries of opposing clans with scars should they fail to show the respect Viricota feels he and his clan are owed. Mercenaries and exaltation hopefuls come from all around to receive his training, and those who remain with the clan long-term rely on him for protection.

Viricota is a dragon of few words, often leaving large gaps of silence and speaking only once he is certain of what he wants to say. These gaps of silence sometimes include waiting for Viricota to consult the clan's records; his innate memory is poor, and while it may cause delays in political conversations, he will not allow his memory issues to affect his decisions.

It is difficult to ignore the resemblance between the growths festering across his hide and the flowers that adorn his form.
