Marusya - The Mysterious Merchant



______ This Bogsneak is not an individual that is easily figured out. Always cloaked, no one have ever seen her face beyond the dark shrouds of her garments, and her glowing eyes are all that can be seen behind the veil. Many avoid her, afraid of what could happen if they make eye contact for too long. She is viewed as a bad omen, and a curse by the locals, but if you're brave of heart, she'll reward you. For deep down this dragon is merely a humble merchant, looking to make a (debatablly) honest living.

______ Marusya is always found in some dark corner of the local markets, looking to sell her assortment of "shines" and "treasures" to sell. 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder', she always says as one finds there eyes roving over her seemingly valuable knickknacks. Many fall for her skillful swindling, because they suddenly feel as though that special piece they have their eye on would look just beautiful in their lair; they have to have it! She graciously accepts many forms of payment, from highly valuable gems, to that sword in your satchel. Her familiar Peekaboo holds all her payments, and opens by her claws only, otherwise guarding the contents inside. After payment has been made, many leave the bartering stand with little memory of what happened. The next day, the individual wakes up wondering how this new item got into their lair, and who pranked them with such an ugly thing. Don't bother looking for who did it, for by now Marusya has mysteriously disappeared, counting her treasure and gems in a unknown location, a satisfied smile on her face. Who knew robbing someone blind could be so lucrative!
