The Balance

The calm and sensible of his trio, Mintleaf acts as the planner. Despite not being the leader, he has more integrity and fights with more honor then Smoulder ever could bother. Instead of charging head first, he plans out his attacks carefully, and instead of trying to rationalize with everyone, he fights whoever challenges him and spares them, dragon or otherwise. Mintleaf finds no use in killing unnecessarily, thinking of it as "how a rabid Chipskink would act" in his own words. He's rather reserved, only speaking to a small group of dragons, with half of those involved being his Wildwood Owl, Smoulder, and Jaybird, being the middleman that keeps the two from tearing each other apart from a dumb argument.

Before he had moved into the clan and decided to defend it with his honor, he lived a peaceful life in the Stormcatcher's domain. Despite the fact that the electrical currents would keep birds away, he would continuously sneak further out to communicate with different birds of different elemental alignments. He spent so much time doing this that he eventually learned how to mimic bird chirps to communicate with them. It's an ability Mintleaf was able to learn, however he has trouble trying to teach it.
