Arcticus

" Run! Run! The guard is on his way! From the snowy depths he comes to find the culprits. With his chilling breath he forms daggers of ice, then he goes out patrol, for something to excise. One wrong step and it´s too late. The guard hears it all, returns irate. "

Southern lights were treat in Southern Icefield whenever they would appear on clear nightsky, but even then Order wouldn´t rest nor would Guard of Sanctum.

Tonight was one such night. Group of Wintermane members who had tried to intrude the Sanctum were chased by angered Sentry Guard who was more than determined give them piece of his mind. Gaoler despite his heavy weight managed to jump and pin one of fleeing Centaurs " Got you now intruder! Got anything say to yourself? " he growled, Centaur was more than terrified " I´m sorry! I´m sorry! I promise we don´t do it again! " Gaoler growled more, eyes narrowed.

Wintermane was terrified, for his luck elder of Gaolers appeared " Guard Arcticus... let him go. I believe in him. " elder said which made guard growl more but he did as told. Centaur fled quickly, vanishing into nearby woods. Guard shook all snow he had gotten on himself off as elder approached him " You did great. " he said, Arcticus looked him " Uh, thank you elder Glacier.... " he said, calming down now that threat was gone. Elder laid down, feet tired of his long travel while Arcticus finished getting snow off " I´m... sorry if I was bit rought back there... " he managed to breath out, it wasn´t easy to apologize, no matter who you were. Glacier waved his paw up and down " Ah, it´s alright. You did well. It will be good warning for herd not to come and bother you in future. Unless they want to get caught by you and be excised. " he stated, it was true, he would do it but it was to protect the Sanctum, it wasn´t place where just anyone could enter. Only those with Oculus of the Eleven could, intruders could go kick the rocks.

Younger Gaoler started to go through his braids then, with assist of Elder which he welcomed. He always took good care of them, some would tell him just cut his mane but why do that when you can make long hair look dashing? Elder taught him braiding ever since he was hatchling, and he had fallen love with style back then. Guard almost wagged his tail during the act, it was act of bonding for them. Something they both liked, usually Gaolers were duty-bound and quite cold toward people. But Glacier knew it wasn´t way life, not for him anyway, it was way to lose friends. Order weren´t his friends, they were more like colleague if anything. But Guard of Sanctum, he was friend. Soon two would gaze up to lit up sky together, watching southern lights dance up in high, in here it was treat for they eyes for sure, and would be for many in future.
