Orion

Only emerging from his lair when the sun fades away from the sky and the moon takes its place, you never see Orion anywhere near that massive star in the expansive blue of the daylight hours.

You might hear the soft padding of his feet as he wanders the brush, or the occasional pebble he may have dislodged while hauling himself into the perfect space to fire off an arrow, but he's extremely stealthy most of the time; especially when on an important mission. Orion is a master of the bow, even in the darkness of night, hence his special title: the Archer of the Midnight Skies. Sometimes, he attaches the very essence of fireflies to the heads of his arrows so they appear to be stars falling towards you from the inky darkness. Paired with the coloring and patterning upon Orion's scales, he can be impossible to catch sight of in a clear night full of stars. Only the keenest of dragons may spy a glimpse of this elusive ranger.

Or at least, he calls it the 'very essence of fireflies'. Not many dragons are convinced this is what the glowing substance is, and many have asked Orion himself for more details, but they never get a straight answer.

We may never know the origin of this skydancer's perilous star juice, but maybe someone will squeeze the answer out of him one day . . .

As a dragon? Orion's a rather pleasant fellow to be around. He may be mostly nocturnal, but if you manage to stay late enough to have a chat: you'll find he's a very friendly lad. Orion enjoys socializing with his fellow dragons, but he doesn't like waking up in the day. He's anything but diurnal, and it makes it sad that so many dragons head off to bed in the night. So, as you can imagine, he doesn't have many to speak to when he's actually up and energized. He's also extremely exhausted, most of the time, when you speak to him. Orion enjoys having a sense of humor, as well, and likes cracking jokes and saying goofy things to lighten the mood.

However, he seeks friendship in Revenant, and the two are rather close. They're both night-owls, and Revenant sometimes even gives Orion new ideas for trickshots with his bow.
