Biography

Hermia hatched from an egg that Shay's clan found during the infamous Night of the Nocturne of 2014. Her mate, Lysander, hatched from the first egg that the clan found after searching for days on end. Satisfied with finally finding an egg, the clan went about their merry way. During a simple gathering excursion the following day, they stumbled upon Hermia's egg. Everyone was a bit surprised.

Hermia really enjoys abstract art and art made with bits of metal. With Shay's permission, she takes small metal scraps from the clan's hoard and constructs sculptures, jewelry, and other bits of clothing. She made her usual wing ornaments herself and just loves them; they're stylish, but they're even better because she made them herself. She's changing things up for the Brightshine Jubilee, though.

When she's not cultivating her artistic talents, she enjoys traveling the world with her mate Lysander. She enjoys the freedom that came once her daughters Kate and Bianca grew up and started taking care of themselves, although she loves to spend afternoons with them.
