Delg

Delg is compassionate, soft, and has an aching need for family. He’s everyone in the clan’s father figure, and takes his role seriously. He’s quiet, and more frail than your average Mirror male, but that doesn’t stop his instincts from coming out when they’re needed.

Delg was born alone in the Tangled Woods, being a child of Shadowbringer from the start. It was only through quick thinking, and slinking through bramble and shadow that he made it to his adult years. His instincts called a pack, and other dragons he found. His life flipped on the top of its head when during one of his attempts to join a mirror pack, he was brutally wounded, the pack took mercy on him and left him injured in the middle of Driftwood Drag. He laid there, waiting for Mother Nature to finally take him when a Mirror pack stumbled upon him. Never had he encountered such violent dragons, and even his best attempts to fight back were weak and only got him more bites. After the sharp agony of his wing being snapped, the onslaught of pain turned into a throb as a beautiful, strong Mirror stood over him, her frills fanned out in a breathtaking display of dominance and her tail whipping back and forth as a warning to the rest of the Mirrors surrounding them.

His savior (Zot, he would learn) took pride in caring for his injuries after the fight. She would tell him of her goal that she was going to stop at nothing to achieve to build a Clan for the unwanted and different. It was admirable, It made him love her more. She didn’t care that he was small, or weak, or felt the need to wrap around their eggs instead of hunt. Delg was happy with what he had, and he was glad to assist Zot in her goal for happiness too.
